Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your guide will meet you at Cairo International Airport at a time to be confirmed and transfer you directly to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and rest before the adventure begins.
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up from your hotel at 9 AM. Your day begins at the Grand Egyptian museum (GEM) in Giza, one of the largest and most modern museums in the world, before heading to the Giza Plateau to stand before the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. A horse or camel ride offers a sweeping panoramic view of all nine pyramids, followed by a visit to the iconic Sphinx Statue. A stop at the Papyrus Museum gives you a glimpse into one of ancient Egypt's most fascinating crafts. Lunch is served in Giza. In the afternoon, an optional Quad ATV ride by the Pyramids for 45 minutes (35 USD pp) is available for those seeking an extra thrill. You will then be dropped off at your hotel. In the evening, an optional Dinner Cruise on the Nile (35 USD pp) lets you sail along the river while enjoying a Belly Dance and Tannoura Oriental Show — a memorable way to end the day before being dropped off at your hotel.
Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor City at a time to be confirmed. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken directly to the West Bank, where you'll explore the Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari, walk through the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings, and pass by the towering Colossi of Memnon. A free visit to an Alabaster and Marble workshop follows, where you can watch local craftsmen at work over welcome drinks of tea, coffee, or hibiscus. Lunch is served in Luxor. As the sun begins to set, the East Bank comes alive with visits to the magnificent Karnak Temple and the beautifully lit Luxor Temple before being dropped off at your hotel.
An optional Hot Air Balloon ride at sunrise (70 USD pp, shared with other guests, transfers included) offers an unforgettable aerial view of Luxor's temples and the Nile valley. After returning, breakfast is served at the hotel. You will then be picked up from your hotel and drive south to Aswan City. A ferry boat takes you to the island sanctuary of Philae Temple, followed by a visit to a traditional Perfume Factory with welcome drinks of tea, coffee, or hibiscus. The afternoon brings a boat ride to the Nubian village and Crocodile House, where you can experience authentic local life. A swimming stop in the Nile is available upon request at no extra cost. Overnight in Aswan.
An early 4 AM start takes you on a drive to Abu Simbel Temples — approximately 3 hours each way. A breakfast box will be prepared before departure. Your private Egyptologist guide will accompany you throughout, noting that explanations of the site are given from outside the temple in accordance with local regulations. You will visit the Great Temple of Ramses II with its four colossal statues, and the Small Temple of Hathor and Nefertari. After returning to Aswan in the afternoon, you will be dropped off at Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo at a time to be confirmed. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up from your hotel to begin your final day in Egypt. The morning starts at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, including the Royal Mummies Hall, followed by a visit to the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. The afternoon takes you through Old Cairo, including the vibrant lanes of Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, where an optional traditional Henna tattoo by a Southern woman is available (10 USD). The route continues through Al-Azhar Mosque (if open), the storied Al-Muizz Street, and the legendary El-Fishawy Café, one of the oldest cafés in Cairo. Lunch is a bowl of Koshari, Cairo's most beloved street dish. An optional Felucca boat ride at sunset on the Nile (10 USD pp) offers a peaceful moment before the evening continues with a Downtown Local Tour — walking through Cairo's most famous squares, stopping at a street coffee shop, and trying Middle Eastern desserts or ice cream. You will then be dropped off at your hotel before your transfer to the airport for your flight home at a time to be confirmed.
