Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival, meet and assist at the airport, and a transfer to your hotel. An early night before the flight south.
You fly south first thing and spend the afternoon watching the total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027 from a prepared site near the temples. Once the light returns you board your ship for the week on the river.
The royal tombs cut into the cliffs, the terraced temple of Hatshepsut and the fortified mortuary temple at Medinet Habu, which most visitors skip and should not.
Two temple stops as the ship moves south: the falcon god sanctuary at Edfu, then the twin dedication at Kom Ombo with the river running alongside the courtyard.
The island temple, the dam and the quarry in the morning, then a boat ride to a Nubian village, where the houses are painted in blocks of colour and the tea is strong.
Disembark after breakfast and fly back north, with a free afternoon and evening in the capital.
The finale: a full guided day on the plateau at Giza, followed by the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Tutankhamun collection displayed in full.
A private transfer to the airport completes the trip.
