Day-by-Day Itinerary
Airport meet and assist, then a private transfer to your hotel and a free evening to recover from the flight.
A guided morning at the pyramids and the Sphinx, then the museum beside the plateau, where the Tutankhamun rooms alone are worth the visit. Time in the afternoon for the panoramic viewpoint.
A short flight south, then the afternoon set aside entirely for the total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027, watched from a prepared position with a clear horizon. Several minutes of totality, and a good deal of noise from everyone around you when it ends.
Morning among the temples on both banks, including the vast complex at Karnak, before an afternoon road transfer across the eastern desert to the Red Sea.
A free day on the coast. The reef here begins close to shore, so snorkelling is possible straight off the beach, and the hotel can arrange diving for certified guests. Our guide to the Egyptian Red Sea is worth a read before you go in.
An optional full-day boat trip out to the offshore reefs and sandbanks, with snorkelling stops and lunch on board, or another quiet day by the water if you would rather not move.
A morning flight back north, with the rest of the day free for shopping or a last look at the river before dinner.
Private transfer to the airport for your flight home.
